Welcome. Here's what working with us looks like.

This pack explains who we are, what your supports look like, your rights, and how to reach us — including in a crisis. It's yours to keep. If anything here is unclear, just ask your worker or coordinator to go through it with you.

Who we are

Therapy Mental Health is a registered NDIS provider. We specialise in supporting people living with complex mental health, psychosocial disability, forensic and justice backgrounds, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, and palliative needs. We work across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

We were built for the people the system often finds hardest to support — and we're proud to be the team that doesn't give up. Many of the people we work with have been through a lot: long histories with mental illness, time in hospital, contact with the justice system, or supports that broke down before they were ready. We meet you where you are, without judgement, and we stay.

What we believe
Everyone deserves support
No matter how complex things are, or who else has said no.
You know yourself best
Your goals, choices and voice lead the way.
Recovery is possible
With the right support, life can get steadier and fuller.
Consistency matters
We stay alongside you — we don’t step back when it’s hard.
How we work with you

Our approach is recovery-oriented and trauma-informed. That means we focus on your strengths and goals — not just your diagnosis — and we understand that difficult experiences shape how people feel safe and connect with support. You stay in the driver's seat: we work at your pace, with your choices at the centre, and we help build the skills and confidence to do more for yourself over time, rather than depend on services.

Who you'll work with

You'll be supported by a multi-disciplinary team — support workers, recovery coaches and coordinators — backed by clinical oversight and regular supervision. We take time to match you with a worker who suits you, and we keep that relationship as steady as we can, because trust takes time to build.

Our promise to you

"We'll treat you with dignity, support your choices, keep you safe, and stay alongside you — especially when things get hard."

What to expect

Getting started

We meet you, talk through what matters to you, and agree how we’ll work together.

Your plan

We build a support plan around your NDIS goals — at your pace, with your choices at the centre.

Your worker

You’re matched with a worker or coach suited to you. We keep that relationship steady.

Staying on track

We review regularly, adjust as things change, and keep you informed every step.

The real work we do together

Support is more than just turning up. It's the steady, practical work of building skills, confidence and connection — so that over time you can rely less on services and more on yourself. Depending on your goals, that work can include:

Building everyday routines
Working together on sleep, meals, appointments and structure — the small things that make life feel steadier.
Managing money & bills
Practical support with budgeting, bills and Centrelink so day-to-day life is less stressful.
Connecting with community
Finding groups, activities and places where you feel you belong — reducing isolation at your pace.
Health & appointments
Coordinating with doctors, psychiatrists and treating teams, and supporting you to attend and be heard.
Skills for independence
Cooking, shopping, transport, cleaning — building confidence to do more for yourself over time.
Recognising early warning signs
Spotting when things are getting harder, and having a plan ready so we can act early — not in crisis.
Safe and supportive housing
Help to find, settle into and keep a home that feels safe — navigating housing, sustaining your tenancy, and building a stable place to live.
Working toward your goals
Study, work, relationships or independence — we break big goals into steps that feel achievable.

Your plan is yours — we focus on what matters most to you, and adjust as your life and goals change.

03

Your rights

As an NDIS participant, you have rights. We hold ourselves to them every day.

To be treated with dignity and respect
Choice and control over your supports
To feel safe and free from harm
To have your privacy protected
To give feedback or complain without it affecting your support
To have a support person or advocate with you
04

Your privacy

We only collect what we need to support you well, and we keep it secure. We won't share your information without your consent — except where we're required to by law, or where there's a serious risk to someone's safety. You can ask to see the information we hold about you at any time.
